Coffee Tampers
Tamping the coffee grounds prior to making your coffee is essential to achieve the correct resistance to the passage of water. This ensures the espresso obtained is aromatic and creamy. Our tampers are the perfect tools for the job as the convex tamping surface guarantees the coffee grounds are pressed down evenly into the filter. There are two diameters are available: 58 and 53 mm, which are suitable for standard filters. The handle is comfortable and provides a solid and secure grip. In addition, our tampers are anodised and available in two colours: matt black and a gloss copper brown. The electrochemical process we use creates a protective patina that ensures the aluminium is corrosion-resistant. And it gives our tampers a modern, stylish look as well. In addition to being anodised, our MOKA tamper is first polished, and this additional step confers a superior shine to the tamper.
